Comprised of hundreds of waxed covered pods, The Great Silence “finds inspiration from the medical science and has a particular interest in microscopic imagery.” Each simple hand made object fluidly moves between biological form and an individual memory. The mass of the canopy and it undulating randomness not only suggests some type of living substance but a collective memory.
